How do I update the firmware?
Log in to the Web UI and go to Advanced Settings > System > Firmware. The page shows your current firmware version. You can update in two ways:
- Online check: click Check Online to have the repeater look for a new version automatically. Follow the prompts if an update is found.
- Manual update: download the firmware file for REPEATERBE3600 from www.strong-eu.com, click Browse, select the file, and click Upgrade.
Warning: Never disconnect power during a firmware update. If the repeater loses power mid-update, it may become unresponsive. If that happens, contact STRONG support.
Where do I find the serial number and firmware version to contact support?
The serial number is on the product label on the side of the repeater, alongside the default Wi-Fi names and password. The firmware version is shown in the Web UI under Advanced Settings > System > Firmware, and also in System Status > System. Have both ready when contacting STRONG support at www.strong-eu.com.
Tips: Two commercial references (REPEATERBE3600 and REPEATERBE3600X) share identical hardware and firmware. Both are covered by the same warranty and support process.
