How do I access the web interface?

Connect your computer, tablet or smartphone to the router by Wi-Fi or with an Ethernet cable. Open a web browser and enter http://setup.strong or http://192.168.188.1 in the address bar, then enter your login password.

How do I change the Wi-Fi name and password?

Go to Quick Setup, enter the new WiFi Name (up to 32 characters) and WiFi Password, then click Save. The settings are applied after about 30 seconds. Reconnect your devices with the new name and password.

You can also change them for each band in Network > WiFi Settings: click Edit, change the settings and click Save.

How do I change the login password?

Go to Quick Setup, enter the new password in New Password and Confirm Password, then click Save.

I cannot open the web interface.

• Check that your device is connected to the router, by Wi-Fi or with an Ethernet cable.
• Enter http://setup.strong or http://192.168.188.1 in the address bar of your browser (http://, not https://).
• Disable any VPN application on your device, then try another browser or clear the browser cache.
• If you changed the IP address of the router in Network > LAN Settings, use the new address or http://setup.strong.
• If you forgot your login password, reset the router to its factory settings (see the factory reset question).

I forgot my login password. What can I do?

Reset the router to its factory settings (see the factory reset question). You will then be asked to create a new login password the next time you open the web interface.

What accessibility options does the web interface offer?

Click the round icon at the bottom right of any page, or press Ctrl+Shift+E, to open the Accessibility Mode:

• Zoom Control: zoom out or zoom in the page.
• Theme Control: switch to Dark Mode.
• Read Aloud: read the page content aloud and adjust the reading speed.
• Reset All: restore the default accessibility settings.

What is the login password of the web interface?

There is no default login password. The first time you open the web interface, you are asked to create one. It must contain 8 to 32 characters, including uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers and special characters. Click Create to save it.

Tips: Select 'Remember password' on the login page to save it in your browser.

Where can I find the Wi-Fi name and password?

The default Wi-Fi name and password are printed on the product label, on the bottom of the router:

• Wi-Fi Network Name: STRONG_AIRHOME_1551_XXXX (XXXX is specific to your router).
• Wi-Fi Password: unique to your router.

If you have changed them, log in to the web interface. On the Dashboard, click the eye icon to show the password, or click Copy to copy it. You can also see them in Network > WiFi Settings.

Tips: The label also shows the address of the web interface (http://setup.strong or 192.168.188.1), the serial number and the IMEI.
