My Wi-Fi is slow / Devices stay on 2.4 GHz / How do I enable MLO?
- Enable MLO: Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Basic Settings > Wi-Fi Band Aggregation (MLO) > Enable. Requires Band Steering to also be Enabled.
- For MLO to function, both bands must use 802.11be mode: check Wi-Fi > Wi-Fi Advanced Settings and set 802.11 Mode to 802.11b/g/n/ax/be (2.4 GHz) and 802.11a/n/ac/ax/be (5 GHz).
- Set Channel Width 5 GHz to 160 MHz in Wi-Fi Advanced Settings for maximum throughput.
Warning: MLO requires a Wi-Fi 7 (IEEE 802.11be) compatible client device. Wi-Fi 5 and Wi-Fi 6 devices connect normally on the appropriate band without MLO.
