Credentials and Web UI access
How do I access the Web UI?
Connect a device (phone, PC, tablet) to the HOPI Wi-Fi network or to a LAN port of the HOPI Home Docking via Ethernet. Open a browser and go to http://192.168.10.1. On first access, you will be asked to create a login password.
How do I access the Web UI when using the HOPI Mobile Wi-Fi in mobile mode?
Connect your device to the HOPI Mobile Wi-Fi network and open http://192.168.10.1 in a browser. The Web UI address is the same in both dock mode and mobile mode.
How do I create the password on first login?
The 'Modify account information' screen appears automatically. Enter a New Password, confirm it in Repeat new password, and click Sure. You are then redirected to the login page.
How do I change the Wi-Fi name (SSID) and password?
Go to the Wi-Fi Settings tab in the Web UI.
- 5GHz preferred ON (default): one unified SSID covers both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Edit Wi-Fi name and Wi-Fi password, then click Sure.
- 5GHz preferred OFF: two separate sections appear (2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and 5 GHz Wi-Fi, each with a suffix automatically appended to the name). Edit each band independently.
Note: After saving, all currently connected devices will be disconnected and must reconnect with the new credentials.
I have forgotten my Web UI password. What should I do?
Click 'forget the password?' on the login page. Confirm the factory reset pop-up. After the reset (~166 s), the first-login password creation screen reappears at http://192.168.10.1. You can also use the physical RESET pinhole on the rear of the HOPI Home Docking (hold 5–10 s with a pin while the device is powered on).
Warning: A forgotten password requires a full factory reset, which permanently erases ALL configurations: Wi-Fi credentials, firewall rules, IP reservations, Mesh settings, scheduled tasks. Note your password in a safe place.
